Founded in 1812 by André-Michel Pierlot in the Grand Cru village of Tours-sur-Marne, the house that became Laurent-Perrier was later passed to his cellar master, Eugène Laurent. After Eugène’s untimely death in 1887, his widow Mathilde-Emilie Perrier took over, giving the house its name and pioneering a drier style of Champagne with her "Grand Vin Sans Sucre" in 1889. Their daughter Eugénie-Hortense Laurent led the house until selling it in 1939. Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut - Crafted exclusively from the purest cuvée juice—just 80% of the grape must—La Cuvée embodies the House’s signature style: purity, freshness, and finesse. A Chardonnay-driven blend (over 50%) with Pinot Noir (30–35%) and Meunier (10–15%), this Champagne includes 15–30% reserve wine and is sourced from over 100 Crus. Aged for approximately four years in cellar and finished with a light dosage, it opens with fine bubbles and aromas of citrus and white flowers. On the palate, the wine shows remarkable balance with notes of vine peach and white fruit.
Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Brut - First introduced in 1968, Cuvée Rosé is made entirely from Pinot Noir sourced from 10 Crus in the Montagne de Reims, including Ambonnay, Bouzy, and Louvois. Macerated for 48–72 hours to extract color and aroma, and aged for a minimum of five years, this wine is known for its vivid red fruit profile and exceptional freshness. Expect raspberry, redcurrant, and black cherry on the nose, followed by a supple, rounded palate bursting with berry character.
Laurent-Perrier Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature - This 100% Chardonnay Champagne comes from both the Côte des Blancs (Avize, Cramant, Oiry, Chouilly) and select villages in the Montagne de Reims (Tours-sur-Marne, Villers-Marmery, Rilly-la-Montagne). It is vinified in stainless steel, aged to maturity in cellar, and released without dosage, staying true to the House’s pioneering role in the Brut Nature category since 1981. The result is a Champagne of striking purity and minerality, with notes of lemon and citrus zest supported by a clean, sustained finish.
Laurent-Perrier Vintage 2012 - Made only in exceptional years, the 2012 Vintage is an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Grand Cru villages such as Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cramant, Bouzy, and Verzy. Despite a challenging growing season marked by frost and hail, the dry, sunny summer yielded grapes of excellent concentration and balance. This wine shows citrus and white peach on the nose, with a lively palate marked by minerality and finesse, finishing with notes of grapefruit.
Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle No. 26 - Rather than a single vintage, Grand Siècle is a prestige cuvée composed of three complementary harvests—2012 (65%), 2008 (25%), and 2007 (10%)—blended to achieve the ideal balance of freshness, depth, and age. Only 8 Grand Cru villages are used, including Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Ambonnay, and Verzy. The wine spends a decade aging on lees before release. Its complex aromatics range from honeysuckle and clementine to hazelnut and honey. The palate is silky, with notes of candied lemon and toasted nuts. |
