We’re pouring some of the finest rosé Provence has to offer in this special Round Table Tasting. Join us as we open four standout bottles from the icons of this region: Chateau d'Esclans, Chateau Minuty, and Chateau Galoupet.
Château d’Esclans, located in the heart of Provence near St. Tropez, was acquired by Sacha Lichine (Prieure Lichine, Margaux) in 2006 with the ambition to craft the world’s greatest rosés. With the late Patrick Léon—former winemaker for some of Bordeaux’s top estates—at his side, the estate introduced groundbreaking techniques that elevated the region’s rosé to new heights. Today, Patrick’s son Bertrand continues the legacy, producing a world-class portfolio defined by elegance, depth, and complexity, including Les Clans and Garrus—wines that have helped define a new era for Provençal rosé.
Château Minuty - Founded in 1936 and still family-owned, Château Minuty is a historic estate located in Gassin on the Saint-Tropez peninsula. With a deep commitment to tradition and sustainability, the 200-hectare property—certified HVE Level 3—remains one of the few in Provence to harvest entirely by hand. Now in its fourth generation, Minuty produces wines that reflect the estate’s coastal terroir and artisanal heritage, with rosés made from Grenache and Tibouren that are known for their elegance, finesse, and aromatic complexity.
Château Galoupet, a Cru Classé estate since 1955, is a forward-thinking property spanning 69 hectares of vineyards and 77 hectares of protected woodland. Acquired by Moët Hennessy in 2019, it is their first Provence rosé estate and a model of environmental stewardship. With a focus on sustainability and biodiversity, the estate is restoring its ecosystem and refining its viticultural practices to craft exceptional wines that reflect both terroir and a deep respect for nature.Château Galoupet Cru Classé Rosé 2022
