This vintage has a sweet side matched by a savory side, and despite the heat and challenges of the vintage, Bricco Lago, with old-vine fruit, shows impeccable winemaking with a very clean and polished style. The 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo Bricco Lago was tasted from cask and is bright with ripe raspberries, framboise, wild fresh herbs, and a clean finish. Zesty and fresh, it has great ripe fruit and a chalky texture with a more linear feel. Crunchy and bright, I love this vintage of this wine for its ease and snappy lift. (AF)
