Chapaudaises covers an area of 2.00 hectares (4.94 acres), this plot is exclusively devoted to Cabernet Franc. The vines, planted in 1948, boast a rich history. The terroir is composed of three parcels, distinguished by their silt and sand topsoils overlaying a bedrock of supple limestone. Embracing organic practices, the vineyard is currently in the conversion phase. During vinification, the process involves 100% de-stemming and fermentation with naturally occurring ambient yeast. The resulting wine matures gracefully for 10 months in wooden conical vats before undergoing a gentle filtration prior to bottling.
