Dunn Vineyards, In our opinion, produces one of the Napa Valley's best values, the "Napa Valley" designated Cabernet Sauvignon. It's an exceptionally high quality 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Most of the fruit for this wine comes from the Dunn estate's vineyards on Howell Mountain. The rest comes from the valley floor which is around Coombsville for this vintage. . For Dunn's Napa Valley designate, the incorporation of this fruit softens the style of the wine, making it more accessible at an earlier age than the Howell Mountain designate. One does not pay too large a price for this accessibility as the Napa bottling does have the ability to age for the better part of decades. The Dunn wines are always 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and always a classic inimitable style.
