Ghost Block Estate is owned by the Hoxseys, a family with deep roots in the Napa Valley and even deeper grape growing roots in the northern Italian region of Liguria. It was in 1902 when the family emigrated to the northern part of the Valley, purchasing 35 acres just south of Calistoga for the hefty price of one $10 gold coin.
Today, the Pelissa family, now into its fifth generation in the Valley, farms 635 acres in Oakville and Yountville, all certified organic. With over a century of experience in the vineyards, Ghost Block's estate wines are quality defined.
