This wine showcases a remarkable richness and intensity, derived from a plot of 50-year-old vines located just a few kilometers from Nuits-Saint-Georges. The vineyard sits on a south/southwest-facing site at an elevation of approximately 380 meters, providing ideal conditions for grape cultivation. After a day of cold maceration, the grapes are pressed and the wine is aged for around ten months on the lees, with 50% in barrels (5% new) and the other half in vats. The result is a beautifully balanced wine with depth and complexity. - MG
