Overture 2022 follows with a more expressive, high-toned personality. The growing season began with early-winter rains—12 inches more than the previous year—before late-winter dryness and a turbulent spring gave way to an intense, heat-influenced harvest. Careful vineyard management, including selective irrigation and early picking of ripe parcels, preserved freshness and flavor definition. Composed of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc, 1.5% Merlot, 1% Malbec, and 0.5% Petit Verdot, it saw 20 days of skin contact and 18 months in new French oak.
