With Elena Spirits, the family channels their roots in the Langhe region of Piedmont into a new creative pursuit that celebrates the rich botanicals, and traditions, of their homeland.
This Vermouth blends aged Barolo Lazzarito 2019 with a touch of Roero Arneis and a selection of local botanicals, based on a historic family recipe. After a three-week cold extraction, the ingredients undergo a single infusion and are aged in steel tanks. The result is a garnet-red vermouth with notes of bitter orange, gentian, vanilla, and subtle spices like licorice and clove. Best served over a single cube of ice—no garnish needed.
