The Brown Estate is bottled as a monovarietal in this case made from 100% Zinfandel which is grown in the high-elevation Chiles Valley. Founded in 1995 and rooted in land acquired by the Brown family in 1980, the estate has become synonymous with sustainably farmed, site-driven wines, specifically Zinfandels. The estate is made up of a 500 acre site of which only 50 are devoted to grapes. The 2022 Zinfandel was aged for 10 months in 30% new French oak, the wine is lush, expressive and surprisingly restrained.
