Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes du Milieu comes from a plot acquired from Véronique Bonin’s aunt in 2021, located in the heart of the Charmes 1er Cru near the pathway separating Charmes-Dessus and Charmes-Dessous, adjoining Les Referts. The vines thrive in very stony limestone soils rich in iron oxides, imparting depth, structure, and a subtle mineral intensity. Farmed sustainably, organically (Ecocert), and biodynamically (Demeter), the wine is aged 18 months on the lees in 228L barrels (10% new) and bottled unfined and unfiltered,
